Pickensville Campground is located on the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway. Pickensville Campground offers 176 sites with electric and water hookups and several sites that have sewer. Many people enjoy watching the barges go by, hunting, fishing, and water sports along the waterway from Pickensville Campground. The nearby Tom Bevill Visitor Center details the history of the Tenn-Tom Waterway, what kinds of wildlife can be found on the waterway, and also the U.S. Snagboat Montgomery, circa, 1926, is displayed next to the Visitor Center.

Service Park Campground is located on Coffeeville Lake just west of Coffeeville, AL. The lake is the third largest in the Black Warrior and Tombigbee system with a surface area of 8,800 acres and a length of 97 miles. The area provides excellent camping, fishing, boating, and picnicking. The Service Park Campground offers 32 sites with electric and water hookups. Additional amenities include a dump station, laundry facilities, hot showers, a pay phone, and a boat ramp nearby. Site Fees are $16.00-$18.00 per night. Sites 1-16 are $16.00 Sites 17-32 are $18.00

From I-10 heading west, take Florida Exit 7, turn left and go to Blue Angel (173), turn right and go to 98, turn right and go 7 miles. Cross the bridge and turn left at light (99) and go 2 miles.

Located northwest of Birmingham about 60 miles. From US 78 in Jasper, take Highway 195 north 5 miles to County Road 27. Take County Road 27 northeast for 8 miles to the campground.
Clear Creek is open for first come, first serve camping. However, reservations for Bear Loop are suspended in 2009 until further notice. This is due to construction delays. The hiking and bicycle trails are for campers only.
Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance of arrival. This campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends. This campground requires a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends. Hiking and bicycle trails are for campers only. Deerlick Creek Campground is open from March 1st to November 30th. Sites are available for $10-$18/night. West Point Lake extends 35 miles along the Chattahoochee River, just north of West Point, Georgia. The lake has a shoreline of more than 500 miles. Surrounded by forests and fields on the Alabama-Georgia state line, West Point Lake provides excellent fishing, camping, and other recreational opportunities. The Amity Campground offers 96 sites, 93 with electric and water hookups. Additional amenities include a dump station, laundry facilities, hot showers, a boat ramp, basketball and tennis court, a playground, and trails. Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. 2 night minimum on weekends. 3 night minimum on holidays. The campground is open March - September and sites are $16-$22/night. Burchfield Branch Park is located on Holt Lake Northeast of Tuscaloosa , AL. The damming of the Black Warrior River formed the lake and provides opportunities for water related activities and other outdoor recreation for the public. Holt Lake offers areas for campers, boater, swimmers, picnickers and sightseers. Burchfield Branch Park has 36 sites with electric and water hookups. Additional amenities include a dump station, laundry facilities, hot showers, a boat ramp, a pay phone, 2 playgrounds, fishing piers, a group shelter, and a swimming beach.

Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance. This park requires a 2 night minimum stay on weekends. This park requires a 3 night minimum stay on holiday weekends. Sites are available for $12 to $18 per night. Gates are open and attendants are on duty from 6am to 10pm. No ATV's or ORV's allowed. Campers are limited to 2 vehicles per site. Any additional vehicles will be charged an extra vehicle fee collected at the park. All customers will be assessed an area usage fee. Golden Age, Golden Access, and America the Beautiful Senior and Access passes are applicable. Park Attendant Contractors cannot perform transfers Thursday-Saturday or on Holiday Weekends, during the peak season. As of March 1, 2009 the campground is 100% reservable. Campers are still welcome to walk-in if sites are available. We recommend you call the park to check site availability.

FROM TUSCALOOSA: From I-59, take exit 86 toward Brookwood on Tuscaloosa Co. Rd 59, turn right at traffic light in Brookwood on Hwy 216, turn left(NE) onto Co. Rd 59, turn left at stop sign onto Lock 17 Rd, turn left at Lock 17 Grocery on Lock 17 Rd and follow to park entrance. approx 23miles rom Brookwood (AL) FROM BIRMINGHAM: From I-59, take exit 115 toward Hueytown on Allison -Bonnett Memorial Drive, which turns into Warrior River Rd., follow through Concord Community toward Lock 17 Rd., Warrior River Rd. turns into Lock17 Rd., continue thru Oak Grove Community, turn left at Lock 17 Grocery and follow to park (approx 31 miles from I-59)

In Alabama's Black Prairie Belt, Chilatchee Creek Campground offers excellent fishing for bass, crappie, bluegill and catfish. The park also provides good bow hunting opportunities for whitetail deer and wild turkey. Numerous fishing tournaments and annual festivals are held in the immediate area.

The campground is open year round and sites range from $16-$18/night. An attendant is on duty and the campground telephone number is (334) 573- 2562. First mile of campground entrance road is not paved. One camping unit and two vehicles are covered by camping fee. There is a $2 fee for each extra vehicle. More than one camping unit is allowed but an extra fee may be charged.
From Alberta, AL on SR 5, turn onto Wilcox CR 29 and travel SE for 11 mi, make a left on Chilatchee Creek Road. Campground is 2 mi ahead.
