Hawaii's history and heritage are unique treasures. To ensure that later generations will have the opportunity to enjoy these significant sites takes commitment to preservation and promotion.
On March 15, 2010, Historic Hawaii Foundation is sponsoring the 8th Annual Historic Preservation Awareness Day, in conjunction with the Heritage Caucus 2010.
Over 20 exhibitors will participate to help raise awareness about preserving and perpetuating the State's heritage. Organizations and exhibitors include the Hawaii State Historic Preservation Division of the Department of Land and Natural Resources, Mission Houses Museum, Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor, The Friends of Iolani Place, Bishop Museum, The University of Hawaii Historic Preservation Program and the Pacific Island Institute.
Stop by the Capitol to join the support for Hawaii's heritage! Learn more about efforts to protect our islands' historic places, become a member of an organization or just share your ideas.
